Hello, hello

I'm a Ph.D. student writing my thesis. I'm feeling a little...stuck. So, I'm doing what every other Ph.D. student on the planet seems to do at this point - I'm procrastinating. My personal form of procrastination: make my own blog.

So here it is, shiny and new. I've got a name, an email address, a layout and a color scheme. It's a little pink and girly, mostly clean and practical, kind of like me. I hope to make it into something interesting and fun to read, something that makes people (myself incuded) think. Maybe it will be a little therapeutic, maybe a little cathartic. These qualities are all characteristics of the blogs that have become my favorites.
